Yea exactly the film is a painful watch. For sheer some good laughter’s you shall not put your ass through this painful watch of 156 minutes. Amar Kaushik had raised the bar of expectations high with its trailer, the film is a pain, direction is good, it is the writing that suffers, and you get shit in the name of comedy or say adventure.

We thought the flavor of eighties is back with the films packaging, giving that Ramsay look, bringing a song closure to Jhule-le from Tarzan, nineties chhadi pehan ke nostalgia, the film had a lot to give alas, it only delivers shit. Watching Bediya puke liters of vomit, shitting on a video call with his boss Saurabh Shukla, who is shitting at the other end, Abhishek Banerjee waiting for that shit to come out. Seriously, there was enough shit seen in 2022 coming from Bollywood than this, Bhediya delivering a pure shit. Bet you will put your head-down on these scenes forget laughing, if you must put your head-down than why go cinema hall. Stay home stay safe still works.

Amar Kaushik’s direction is good, the cinematography is good. The background score is good. Technically the film stands out, but the soul is an absolute miss here. Niren Bhatts writing may have looked good on paper but on celluloid it is sad. It becomes preachy too. The preach was not the point of the film, the repetitiveness makes it look though. Anek did that on Northeast it was least expected here in Bhediya.

Varun Dhawan looks good but at the same time looks lost too in this Bollywood adventure that thought will send people thrill down the spine tickling the funny bones. Nothing really happens though, and it seems he sensed it. Abhishek Banerjee brings in a strong shoulder to rely upon on the comedy than the script, who doesn’t disappoint but the writing does. Abhishek Banerjee has more lines than Varun Dhawan. Kriti Sanon is, what a heroine is to a Bollywood film, a bait in the name of the twist.  Few songs and romance without a soul. Deepak Dobriyal is just about ok; his best comic scenes are those the ones which we already saw in the trailer. The trailer was terrific the film will make you sick. An absolute disappointment.
