5th August, indeed, is a Historic Date in Indian Cinema. Apart from 1994’s History Maker Hum Aapke Hain Koun that swayed families to cinema halls. Much before that was K. Asif’s The Historic Mughal-e-Azam, that swayed everyone with its Magnificent Cinematic Impact. Mughal-e-Azam too released on 5th August and created a classic that is timeless winning hearts at magnum with its grandiose sets, stellar performances topped with powerpack dialogues and a pure musical charisma.
Released on 5th August 1960, Mughal-e-Azam completes 60 years, celebrating its 60th Anniversary, people have attempted to add their bit of their tribute in many ways, time and again, be it at college plays or theatrical plays, the soul of Mughal-e-Azam is always alive.
On 60th Anniversary, a Mumbai based Photographer attempts to capture some moments of Madhubala; the lead actress of Mughal-e-Azam who became numero uno with this one and with her limited life, lives lifetime forever in our hearts.
Da Sachin brings you some moments of her; relived by a beautiful girl Renny, though unknown, but makes her heartbeat for Madhubala, in her attempts to portray the class Madhubala has been. One can never get an inch closer to the persona she was.
People can only pay tribute and salute the actress; to give future generations an essence of the legacy many have left behind. Renny, who was introduced to the world of Madhubala by a film passionate photographer, Da Sachin, who tries to pay a small tribute to the ever-lasting beauty and classic Madhubala under his lens. It is his attempt too for a small tribute to the beauty she was, with his passion for photography.
