Bamfaad – Not so Explosive!!!

A Zee5 Web Film directed by Ranjan Chandel marks the debut of Paresh Rawal’s son Aditya Rawal along with Shalini Pandey, the girl who was not so praised in the Kabir Singh Original Arjun Reddy appears good in this one. However, the film belongs to Vijay Varma. It is great to see this actor perform and Bamfaad is watchable only because of him. He is stellar in yet another performance post She on Netflix.

Aditya Rawal is quite raw and far from a stellar performance, sails through cause of the crisp editing and of course Vijay Varma’s presence and performance. Shalini Pandey is pretty and does what is being expected. The film background score and music is well integrated and doesn’t push you to forward the same. It is watchable as it takes the story ahead. Writing could have been little better to echo the film title. They settled just on the beehive to define their explosion that too seemed unnecessary. Jatin Sarna amongst the many is the only bit of the known face from the ensemble support cast who adds a bit more; rest of the support cast not from the familiar lot and since their roles aren’t fetched smarter either the film suffers.

Bamfaad doesn’t make it to the priority watch.
