#TheArchies – Tiger Babies Arrive!!!

The Primary factor what will make The Archies a must watch film is the Director Zoya Akhtar, known for creating an immersive world of her own. India 1964 was not this westernized in its culture, but Zoya Akhtar known for her conviction is going to give us an immersive experience. Considering this is a fictional story based on the popular comics The Archies way back in nineties, cinematic liberties are fine. Set in the heart of Nilgiris this Netflix film will make us heart go #tudum.

The musical comedy looks promising compared to its earlier rushes. & The gang labelled as the Nepo Gang is something to look forward to. The ensemble cast includes Suhana Khan playing Veronica (Shah Rukh Khan’s daughter) Agastya Nanda playing Archie (grandson of Amitabh Bachchan) and Khushi Kapoor playing Betty (Daughter of Sridevi). The other debutants are Mihir Ahuja, Aditi Dot, Yuvraj Menda and Vedang Raina also plays the main character in this film.

The teaser looks promising and gives us a gist of what to expect. Zoya Akhtar is known for her finesse in her craft and looks promising. What Jo jeeta wohi Sikandar was for the ninety’s kids, The Archies could turn out to be for the current generation if it strikes the right chord. There is so much to look forward to in Zoya Akhtar’s Archies. Time to see if she is good and can give us a yet another film to cherish bringing so many Tiger Babies alive.
