StreetDancer3D – Only Noise No Rhythm!!!

StreetDancer3D is the weakest coming from ABCD series on Dance film. It is repetitive, regressive and bore to the core. Without Salt even the best dish taste bad no matter what goes in then. Likewise, choreography is the best that doesn’t let your eyes take off from the screen not that it is so engaging, it is the only thing that can hook your eyes on screen. But it gets tiring, the music is tacky and raspy lyrics do knock-knock on your head to stay awake else one may fall asleep. The film is so noisy, it not just loses the rhythm of words it eventually makes you lose the rhythm of dance as well, as the film lacks the only thing films are made for – Story. Street Dancer 3D is only noise and no rhythm leaving you tired and exhausted at 2 hours 50 minutes of whacking of your ear drums.

They may have a good sounding story on the paper but on screen it has evaporated like a vapor. First half there is no grounding at all and in the second half when you see it getting there, it is indeed too late to develop any interest. The film is about dance and should be about dance but without a story it just becomes a concert watching in a cinema hall not giving you a wow factor but just noise, noise and noise.

None of the actors have any scope of performance, Varun Dhawan too looks too weak in the film and so does shraddha Kapoor, there ready to make battles are pure waste with an instant second half forced story leaving you bored. Aparshakti Khurrana last seen in Pati Patni aur who was a cherry on the cake in that film, here though sincere in his act, but is left to rot somewhere there in the script than to shine and spark the film. Rest of the gang graduates from ABCD 1 to 2 and now Street Dancer 3D without flying colors. Remo does the template format with an emotional shirtless song in the second half with similar dance moves with no scope of offering anything new.

Prabhudeva’s Muqabla Dance sequence is the wow factor in the film and Nora Fatehi’s presence is the key thing to survive Street Dancer 3D.  It is like removing French fries and hogging on them from the plate of bad sizzler.
