#TaazaKhabar – Good News!!! PK Verdict: Silver Plus 3.5*s

Taaza Khabar is the Good News happening to you, it takes away the omen of Disney Hotstar giving it a reason to celebrate with its first entertainer of 2023. Bhuvan Bam is the man to celebrate, a great journey of his further seems to be unfolding to reach a legacy. From Comedy to Drama, Bhuvan Bam is the man of the moment in Taaza Khabar. From BB Ki vines to BBKV Productions he is a creator to look forward to. Though TaazaKhabar may not be out of the box idea, it is like good old Madhuri Dixit’s 100Days made digital. But nevertheless, the plot is interesting and keeps you hooked till the end leaving you at a good cliffhanger to comeback for season 2.

Bhuvan Bam plays Vasya and TaazaKhabar is all about his journey, a story of rag to riches. Bhuvan Bam hits the right target with a wham showcasing his acting abilities at ace. 

The 6-episode web series is fast paced and doesn’t let you lose interest once the bomb of magic drops, in one of the episodes prelude Vasya’s mom explains the difference between the magic and the miracle. Showcasing the depth of writing, details are well-taken care off to a level to keep you entertained. Episodes are crisp and just six, moving fast and leaving you crave for more.

Rest of the key cast includes talented Shriya Pilgaonkar who never fails to impress. Plays a sex-worker, who shares a common space of being a love interest to the antagonist and the protagonist. The antagonist is none other than Ram Gopal Varma’s Satya here to impress with his menace and is damn good. Reliable actors make Taaza Khabar a top-notch watch. Shilpa Shukla, Deven Bhojani and Prathamesh Parab they all add the right zing to Taaza Khabar.  The series has great background score, songs are amazing adding the right vibe and brilliant cinematography inspired a bit from Gully boy, but no complains till they spark the silver screen. 

The Director Himank Gaur doesn’t deliver Taaza Khabar as a complex web-series, He knows what’s in the making. He keeps the execution simple and brings in a good Bollywood taste. Taaza Khabar has it all from Baaghi to Big Bull, Bhuvan Bam all the way. If you are looking for something that accelerates your brain, then maybe you can switch to something else. This one is a pure masala entertainer. The series has a good Indian Filmi plot with stereotypes and although predictable yet entertaining. That’s the magic of writing or say manifestation of a miracle makers put their belief upon.  Bhuvan plays Salman Khan of Baaghi in full throttle and ends up being an Abhishek Bachchan The Big Bull,with all the wealth he clicks bait to the news that…… 

TaazaKhabar – A must watch.
