Bombairiya – Badiya!!! PK Verdict : Silver Plus 3.5*s

Bombairiya is a comic thriller that demands your attention else you may lose the plot wondering what’s happening. It is a no non-sense comic thriller that hooks you up making you laugh out loud at times and think deep at times.

The plot is based in Mumbai and there are too many things happening, the crux of the story lies in the high profile witness and its security so you will hear lot of jargon on the importance of witness, the risk involved in one’s life and risk of witness turning hostile as well. A film publicist Meghna essayed by Radhika Apte caters to Gareebon ka Salman Khan “Karan Kapoor” essayed by Ravi Kishan is awesome. Ravi Kishan brings in some great smiles with his role. This publicist accidentally meets an accident that stirs a road rage; in a city like Mumbai where you will see many spectators enjoying the road rage show and recording it on their mobiles; there are hardly people who would come to the rescue and the one who does are often termed silly. Akshay Oberoi comes as Pintoo is one such spectator who didn’t mind being silly and comes as a rescue sporting a Superman T-shirt. This leads to a roller-coaster of situations giving path to a situational comedy that helps you connect the dots towards the end keeping the thrill high on this Bombairiya ride.

The film cast that includes Adil Hussain, Ajinkya Deo, Ravi Kishan, Siddhant Kapoor, Shilpa Shukla and Amit Sial are salt and pepper to Bombairiya making it a delicious Bollywood dish to relish. The background score of the film adds a lot to the film and the cinematography is brilliant. The film in its little scope conveys a lot and makes you laugh a lot.
