Bharat Bhagya Viddhaata Trailer Review: Zee5 film than a big-screen film.
Intense Title, Mediocre Execution!!!
Kangana Ranaut returns with yet another solo outing, this time headlining Bharat Bhagya Viddhaata (BBV), a film backed by an intense and powerful title. Unfortunately, the trailer doesn’t quite live up to the promise that its name carries.
With hardly any familiar or popular faces in the cast apart from Kangana, the trailer feels more like a Zee5 film than a big-screen film. The scale, presentation, and overall impact seem surprisingly small for a film carrying such a grand title.
Even Kangana, usually known for commanding the screen with her presence, doesn’t appear to be in top form based on what the trailer showcases. We can only hope that the film utilizes her strengths far more effectively than the promo suggests.
The trailer struggles to capture the triumph and intensity of the terror-stricken night that appears to be at the heart of the narrative. The writing lacks punch, the supporting cast fails to leave an impression, and the storytelling doesn’t generate the excitement one would expect from such a subject.
At this point, Kangana remains the film’s only hope is also not a hope here. Unfortunately, neither the supporting departments nor director Manoj Tapadia inspire much confidence from the trailer alone.
We were genuinely excited to see Kangana return to the big screen, but this trailer leaves us underwhelmed. Other than the film’s striking title, very little here feels grand, impactful, or memorable.
Having said that, we would be more than happy to be proven wrong. If Bharat Bhagya Viddhaata ultimately triumphs like its powerful title suggests, nobody would be happier than us, especially since Kangana is one star whose big-screen presence has been sorely missed.
